Ram in Thangaval

It was the Saturday before Divali, 8th Nov. Ram (from Thr) was performing at Thangaval, a pub that my hubby and I frequent. We were told that the performance starts at 10pm and as tables have to be reserved, we were reminded to come on time or risk losing our reserved table. So, we got a group together, a friends even came down all the way from Penang. We arrived in time but realised the place was only half filled. Not the 'Indian time' again ,my hubby groaned. An hour later there was still no sign of Ram. Soon, we realised that the show was only going to start at midnight. It was only nearing midnight that the crowd gathered and Ram and Susan appeared. We were still up-spirited. They sang and coordinated some games. But an hour later, sharp 1am, they bid goodbye and dissapeared. It was unbelievable. We waited 2 hours for an hour performance that icluded only about 4/5 songs. Ram and Susan did a good job but we did pay a good sum of money and felt shortchanged. So did many of the other patrons. My hubby and I feel very dissapointed about the whole event arrangement and don't feel like going back there again.
